About Me:
You might be used to coping, getting on with things, or being the one others rely on, but inside it can feel very different. Craig is an experienced person-centred counsellor; having supported people who have felt overwhelmed, stuck, or have carried more than they show on the outside.
Perhaps you’re feeling anxious, low, angry, or emotionally drained. You might be dealing with grief, relationship difficulties, or patterns that feel hard to break. Or maybe there’s just a sense that something isn’t right, even if you can’t fully explain it.
If that resonates, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
Craig offers a warm, confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel truly heard and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you.
Craig’s approach is person-centred, which means he won’t analyse you, diagnose you, or tell you what you should do. Instead, he will work alongside you, listening carefully and work at a pace that feels right for you. When appropriate, Craig also draws on CBT and psychodynamic perspectives, helping you build insight into both your current challenges and the deeper patterns that may be shaping your experience.
Craig believes that when you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and understood, something begins to change. Many of Craig’s clients have found that this kind of space, often for the first time, allows them to feel clearer, less overwhelmed, and more connected to themselves.
Craig has over 13 years of experience supporting people through a wide range of challenges, including:
Anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed
Low mood and depression
Anger and emotional regulation
Trauma and difficult past experiences
Grief and bereavement
Relationship and family difficulties
Addiction and substance misuse
Self-harm and suicidal thoughts
Autism, ADD and ADHD
You don’t need to have everything clearly defined, just a sense that you’d like support. While everyone’s experience of counselling is unique, Craig’s clients have informed him that they valued having a space where the can:
Speak openly without fear of judgement
Be accepted as they are
Explore difficult thoughts and feelings safely
Feel understood at a deeper level
Reaching out can feel like a big step, but it can also be the beginning of something
important. If something in this profile resonates with you, you are very welcome to get in touch.
Craig works at your pace, helping you make sense of what is going on and find a way
forward that feels right for you.
